There’s a new panda in Kuala Lumpur! Seven months ago, two pandas on loan from China to Malaysia, Liang Liang and Xing Xing had their very first baby panda born in Malaysia’s Zoo Negara.
Since the birth of the baby panda, the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry has received a total of 22,830 entries for the ‘Malaysian Giant Panda Cub Naming Competition’.
On 7 April 2016, the giant fluffy baby panda was given the name, Nuan Nuan, which means warmth and friendliness in Mandarin, reflecting the good diplomatic relationship between Malaysia and China.
What are you waiting for? Pay a visit to Zoo Negara Malaysia between 9.00am to 5.00pm every day except Tuesday to catch a glimpse at this cute fur ball.
Can’t wait for more fun and excitement? Here is a few top destinations in the city for students like you to spend your holiday.
