About

The Master of Pharmacy (By Research) program offered by Lincoln University College provides students with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of pharmacy, enabling them to learn about the use and mechanisms of various types of drugs. Students also acquire knowledge of new and advanced methods required for formulation design and interpretation of investigations. Emphasis on interpreting investigations related to pharmacy enhances students' critical thinking abilities, empowering them to make significant contributions to the field in the future.

For successful completion of the Master's degree at Lincoln University College, each candidate must publish a minimum of two research articles in Scopus indexed journals, with affiliation to Lincoln University College.

Entry Requirements

  1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Phase 6, the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MOF)) or equivalent in related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent thereto as adopted by the Senate PPT; or
  2. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Level 6, KKM) or equivalent in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and did not achieve a CGPA of 2.75, may be admitted by relying on rigorous internal evaluation; or
  3. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Level 6, KKM) or equivalent in a relevant field but did not achieve a CGPA of 2.50, may be admitted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field.

International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English. For example, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.
