Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following academic qualifications or equivalent:
• A-Level: Minimum DD
• STPM: Minimum CC
• Foundation Studies: Minimum CGPA 2.00
• Diploma: Minimum CGPA 2.00
• International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum 24 points
• Australian Matriculation: Minimum ATAR 60
• Canadian Grade 12/13: Minimum 60% average
• NCEA Level 3: Minimum 50% average
• Other equivalent qualifications recognised by IMU and relevant authorities
Additional Subject Requirements
Applicants must obtain:
• Minimum Grade C in Mathematics; and
• Minimum Grade C in Chemistry or Grade B in Science at SPM/IGCSE or equivalent level
The subject requirement may be exempted if equivalent results are achieved at the pre-university level.
English Language Requirements
International students and applicants who do not meet English exemption criteria may submit one of the following:
• IELTS: Overall band score of 5.5
• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 46
• MUET: Band 3
• Pearson Test of English (PTE): Score of 51
• Cambridge English (CAE/CPE): Score of 162
• Cambridge Linguaskill: Score of 160
Students who completed previous education fully in English may be exempted according to university policy.
