The 2016 Post Graduate Education Fair (PGEF), during the weekend of 19-20 November, brought together more than 50 universities and colleges offering a spectrum of courses – some 450 courses, to be exact. Professional guidance for prospective postgraduate students was also made freely available, in an attempt to cater to individual interests and lend assistance in making the right choices for their futures.
Despite the ongoing Bersih protest around the KLCC venue, attendees of the PGEF were actively seeking advice to pursue their chosen qualification at the fair, taking advantage of what it had to offer and making use of the opportunities available to them. EasyUni, the Post Graduate Education Fair’s media partner was too present at the venue, as both an onlooker and recruiter to Malaysia’s biggest post graduate education fair.
On the successful outcome of the fair, Managing Director Dato William Ng commented on the future of potential candidates at the fair. “Many students and jobseekers had been hungry for opportunities to put their skills to use,” he said. “Years of studying and practice will always have its value, albeit varying from one employer to another. Witnessing the enthusiasm of our visitors, I am sure the work-force of Malaysia will remain much sought after,” he added.
If you missed out this year’s PGEF, fret not –the annual fair will return once again in Kuala Lumpur next year, 2017, where you can explore further opportunities and courses to pursue.
