Have Fun at the SongkRUN Water Run

Happening on 3 April 2016, in Sepang International Circuit (SIC), Putrajaya, the world renowned SongkRUN water run is highly anticipated by avid runners in Malaysia.  Billed as the “first water fun run with music festival”, SongkRUN brings 5K of un-competitive and un-timed run accompanied with water splashing - this means YOU WON’T SWEAT!

The run will be divided into five “water and music zones”, each combining different genres of music with creative ways to get people soaked and drenched while having fun with running. The run will also bring in top artists and DJ, such as Nikki, XU, Twinkies and Dennis Lau.

“The SongkRUN Water Run in April is one of the most unique events this year because it allows  people to let their hair down, lose their inhibitions and, in the process, connect with their friends,  family and community in a new way”, said Andrew Lee, Founder of the Six Foot Yellow (SYF) Worldwide, the group behind SongkRUN. "It will be more than just a run, it is an experience that participants will bring home with lots of joyful moments and I believe this celebration will bring back our childhood memories to some runners like myself!” Jaden Teoh, co-founder SFY, added. Gary Read is also one of the co-founders.

SongkRUN is just one of the exciting projects in the SFY pipeline. They are targeting to bring the run all over Asia, starting in Malaysia. The group aims to offer Malaysians the chance to bond with friends, family and kids in the outdoors while experiencing an event that promotes cross-cultural fitness. For this event, the group has partnered with beauty and wellness brand Biotherm as its title sponsor.
