Diploma of Engineering Technology (Industrial Design)
About
The Diploma of Engineering Technology (Industrial Design) equips students with technical expertise, design skills, and industry knowledge to thrive in the dynamic field of industrial design. Combining practical and theoretical learning, the programme covers computer-aided design (CAD), advanced technologies, and concepts driven by the fourth industrial revolution. Students gain hands-on experience through design projects that involve ideating, prototyping, and refining solutions with tools like CAD and 3D printing. Elective options allow them to specialise in areas such as product design, process engineering design, environmental process design, or electrical and electronics system design, preparing them for diverse career opportunities in the industry.
