Kirklees College

Kirklees College came to life through a merger between Dewsbury College and Huddersfield Technical College, founded in 2008. Both institutions had illustrious pasts of their own but together as Kirklees College will provide a brighter future for our students. Kirklees College is one of the biggest colleges in the country and we offer a vast range of courses and study options for applicants to choose from.  Based in the heart of Yorkshire we have multiple learning centres across Kirklees, serving the local population, communities and businesses. 

Kirklees College has a dedicated business team who work with employers and businesses across the region to help access a wide range of training, development and services. The college works with hundreds of local businesses across West Yorkshire and our dedicated team have the knowledge to help your business get the right training for your staff. 

The college can offer advice on funding for training, provide facilities for events and develop tailor made courses to suit your need. Apprenticeships can help to develop your staff and achieve long term success. We train over 1500 apprentices across the region and will fully support your business throughout the process.
