About Glasgow International College

Glasgow International College (GIC) is a joint educational partnership between Kaplan International Colleges and the University of Glasgow. The University of Glasgow was established in 1451 and is the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world.

Accommodation

Glasglow International College residences is located around 10-minute walk from the College. Students can chooce to option for same-gender housing options if they prefer to. There will be shared social spaces for the students to socialize and there are entertainment facilities. The bedrooms are equipped with a bed, desk, chair and storage and private bedroom. For security, there are security cameras and on-site staffs to monitor the security. All the bills (electricity, water, gas and WiFi) is included in the payment.

Campus

GIC offers various courses from Foundation certificates in business, engineering, science, social science and Pre-Masters courses in business, law, social science and engineering. Integrated pre-sessional English course is also offered to enhance students’ language skills and give them the confidence to succeed in other courses.

Glasgow International College student's life is beyond studying and reading. There are lot of campaigns and activities organised by the student services office that you can join. Term one is invited to socialise with fellow students and to visit other parts of the UK,

There is a wide variety of clubs and activities that are available at the College that includes tea club, singing and music, football, chess and so on. Trips to nearby cities and places of interest are organized and students can take the chance to join the trips to enrich their local knowledge.
