Health and safety
Barnfield College has a responsibility to protect learners’ health, safety and wellbeing whilst they are studying and we take the security of learners and their belongings in college very seriously.
Our Health and Safety Manager ensures the learning environment is safe, protective clothing is worn at all times and first aiders are available to deal with any incidents.
Student Involvement
Barnfield College appreciates learner feedback. Two college surveys are run each year, which explore the quality of the learning experience and the quality of the college services and resources.
In addition there are a number of focus groups where student course representatives are invited to contribute the views of the students on their course across a range of themes. The student council ensures that students can shape the future of the college & receive direct responses from college managers & senior staff.
Campus
The Barnfield College has two main campuses:
- New Bedford Road campus
- Technology campus
- New Bedford Road campus:
The Faculties of Business, Enterprise & Retail, Creative Arts, and Care, Public Services, Sport & Leisure are based at our New Bedford Road campus. It is also home to our Higher Education Centre and the Retail Quarter.
- Technology campus
The Faculty of Technology is based at our Technology campus with our Apprenticeships team.
