About Sunway College Johor Bahru

Sunway College Johor Bahru was established in 2004. Because of the growing student population, Sunway College JB moved to a new campus in 2006.

The Higher Education Ministry awarded Sunway College JB with six stars at Malaysian Quality, Evaluation System in 2017 (MyQuest). The group felt honoured, because only 15 colleges out of 276 nationwide receive the six-star rating.

Sunway College JB offers an interesting learning experience which helps students discover their hidden talents. The College is part of the Sunway Education Group which is owned by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation. Sunway College has provided half million Ringit Malaysia in scholarships to ensure quality education as a priority.

Campus information

The campus is built on a 10-acre piece of land at Mountain Austin, Johor Bahru. Students, lecturers etc. are shielded from the city traffic and surrounded by suburban residential developments.

Accommodation

Sunway College JB provides an on-campus 4 storey hostel where students get to meet new friends and experience independent living. The residence is secured 24/7 and has an electronic access card system.
