About University of Hong Kong
The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong, being established in the Hong Kong Island. It is originated from the Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese which is the first faculty of HKU as well. HKU has consistently been ranked as one of the best universities in Asia. The QS World University Rankings places it as 1st in Asia and 22nd in the world. The medium of instruction in most classes is English and the school adopts the problem-based learning teaching strategy which aims to train students' problem solving skills.
