UPUOnline Application Opens on 6 February

The schedule for application for the those who want to apply to public universities, polytechnics, community colleges and public skills training institutes for the 2017/2018 academic session will start on 6 February at 12nn via the UPUOnline System at upu.mohe.gov.my.

The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) has also announced that those who have taken their Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) can also start applying to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Universiti Malaya (UM) on the same website.

Applicants are required to obtain their unique ID number for RM15.64 starting on 6 February. This purchase includes the goods and services tax from Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN).

"The ID number can be purchased at the BSN counter and in the case of GIRO account holders, they can be bought at the automated teller machines (ATM) and through BSN Online.
"For future reference, please keep the payment slips as proof of purchase," according to the announcement.
Students are also required to buy their ID numbers at BSN before 30 March and apply on the UPU Online System by 11.59pm on 31 March.
