UPU Results out 16 May

According to the statement released by Higher Education Ministry Director-General Datuk Prof Datuk Dr Asma Ismail, applicants can check the status of their application by contacting these hotline numbers 03-88706767 and 03-88706777. They can also check online at upu.mohe.gov.my, jpt.utm.my, jpt.uum.edu.my, jpt.unimas.my, http://jpt.ums.edu.my. Students can send an SMS by typing UPU RESULT [MyKad No.] to 15888.
She said that applicants who received offer letter can print it from the official Public University (PU) website or through Polytechnic Education Department (JPP) website on Tuesday (17 May).
"Failure by the successful candidates to confirm or reject the offer by the deadline given will be deemed as not accepting it," she said.
Ismail confirmed that there were a total of 440,688 candidates for SPM last year (2015) but only 181,317 (41.1%) candidates filed in application via UPUOnline.
"Of the number, 90.3 percent or 163,681 candidates qualified to be considered for foundation and diploma level studies at universities or premier polytechnics for the 2016/2017 academic term," she added.
Application results for conventional / METRO polytechnics, community colleges and public skills training institutes (ILKA) will be announced on noon time of 26 May.
Candidates who failed to receive any offer on their application could send their appeal through UPUOnline Rayuan (http://upu.mohe.gov.my ) which will be open from 26 May to 31 May, 2016.
Students will able to get the results of their appeal on the second week of June. For further information and assistance, candidates can call the student admission management division, Higher Education Department at 03-8870 6767 or 03-8870 6777
