NZ$1 Million Scholarship Fund Launched For Asian Students By New Zealand University

The University of Waikato Excellence Scholarship for Asia is for students who demonstrate academic excellence and have an offer from the university. The scholarship covers up to NZ$10,000 per student. This scholarship covers students at foundation (pre-degree), undergraduate, and postgraduate levels regardless of faculty and subject areas.

According to an International Student Barometer Survey, the University of Waikato scored a 90% satisfaction rate. Its career services center was also ranked 11th in the world by international students. This survey was conducted in 193 universities in 16 countries, and asked 155,000 current international students about their experiences studying overseas.
