According to the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), the first requirement is that the student must have work experience until the age of 21. The second will be an Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) certificate to prove the achievement made during learning programme.
"The career path for the field of technical and vocational differs from the traditional academic path," MQA explained in the statement.
Further, those DVM graduates who want to pursue studies at IPTs after receiving their DVM, could also be considered, if they have passes equivalent to Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia-Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SPM-SVM).
