Ride your bike or walk to your destination whenever you can! You can also commute by trains because automobile emissions are harmful to the environment.
Besides exercising your body, walking and cycling can also help you save money on gas and parking fee.
2. Think about Your Water Usage

While 70% of the Earth is covered by water, that doesn’t make water supply unlimited. So start turning off water tap while you’re brushing your teeth, washing your face or shaving.
Living Green and Saving Energy suggested that reducing your shower length by four minutes daily would save 3,650 gallons of water annually. So, try cutting down your shower time to conserve more water.
3. Recycle your Waste Materials

If you can, take notes electronically. It does not only save your money on purchasing notebooks, it also decreases the demand of paper and deforestation.
Jotting down what you need to remember in your class in your laptops, smartphones or tablets will also keep your notes organised and safe. It’s also a good way to maximise the use of your gadgets.
5. Use Reusable Grocery Bags

Paper bag is a better choice because plastic bags take a lifetime to decompose.
Additionally, you can bring along a reusable, environmentally-friendly grocery bag when you shop.
6. Carry a Reusable Water Bottle

Be smart by reusing old water bottles or using a reusable water container.
Getting yourself a reusable bottle does not only show your love to the Earth but also to your wallet because you can take it to your class, the gym, or even short trips. Choose one with a design that you like so you’ll be encouraged to bring it everywhere you go.
