About

Studying architecture is both tough and enjoyable. Architects appreciate seeing their designs develop into spectacular creations.

This course will provide you with the technical and practical abilities required to become a creative designer and effective problem solver. To finish a project, students will learn to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM/SPMV : 3 credits including Mathematics and pass Drawing/Engineering Drawing and a pass in English
  • O-Level : 3 credits including Mathematics and pass Drawing/Engineering Drawing and a pass in English
  • UEC : 3Bs including Mathematics
  • SAM/HSC :  TER/UIA 50% in 5 subjects including Mathematics, Drawing and English
  • Canadian Pre-U/CIMP : Minimum average of 50% in 6 subjects including Mathematics, Drawing and English
  • Certicate : Pass in relevant field from Institution of Higher Learning recognised by the Malaysian Government
  • Others : Equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
  • And: Students without a pass in the Drawing subject have to sit for a drawing test or submit a portfolio.

Drawing Test Requirements

  • Applicants are required to produce the following freehand drawings using only 2B pencil on A4 size drawing/ sketch pad.
    • straight vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines with varying thickness (1 A4);
    • drawing of a still object for example a piece of furniture (1 A4);
    • drawing of a life object for example a human, an animal or plant (1 A4).

English Language Requirements

  • SPM: credit (Local students)
  • O-Level with minimum Grade C, TOEFL 520 (PBT)/ 68 (IBT)/ 190 (CBT), IELTS 5.0, IEP Level 3 (International Students)
