About Westminster College
Campus information
Westminster is located in the eclectic Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah, and is within 10 minutes from the downtown business district and just 30 minutes from six mountain resorts. Westminster’s 32-acre campus is comprised of 29 college facilities, including residence halls; a state-of-the-art, LEED-certified science center; a library; facilities for athletics and recreation; art and performance spaces, etc.
Salt Lake City is a wonderful, safe metropolitan area with all the advantages you would expect in a major American city. But unlike most US cities, Salt Lake City is just a short drive from the best recreation areas in the Rocky Mountains. In fact, the 2002 Winter Olympics were held in Salt Lake City. It is also close to numerous national parks, the Utah desert, and is bordered by the Great Salt Lake, the largest inland salt lake in the Western hemisphere.
Accommodation
Westminster is an easy-going, laid-back, welcoming place with students from many different backgrounds and cultures who have all kinds of different interests, passions, and talents.
Every one of them finds a niche in Westminster's unique environment for learning - and so will you.
There is so much to do right on campus - and everything is within walking distance. In fact, there is so much going on, our students even have a Campus Concierge to connect them with activities and events on campus and in the surrounding area.
