The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities is a coeducational, public research university located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. UMN is the largest public research universities in the country, offering undergraduate, graduate, and professional students a multitude of opportunities for study and research

The University of Minnesota has a highly successful Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. There are 12 women’s and 11 men’s varsity sports offer by the university in  competing in the storied Big Ten Conference as well as the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA).

Facilities on campus include the University Recreation Center, University Aquatic Center, Cooke Hall, University Fieldhouse, St. Paul Gymnasium, and a host of outdoor facilities.

Whether it’s fitness classes, intramural sports, or activities offered through the Center for Outdoor Adventure, students can take advantage of a range of recreational sports opportunities available at the U.
