Students can also explore the campus, like the North Campus area of UAF, which consists of nearly 1,100 acres of forest with miles of multi-use trails. The area is used for both research and recreation. The trails include designated areas for skiing, hiking, dog walking and bike riding.
The cost of UAF on-campus housing can vary depending on the type of room and building you choose to live in. UAF offers a wide variety of residence hall style and apartment style options. Housing charges include the cost of the student’s unit as well as all utilities, local phone service, high speed internet and in some cases, cable TV. All unites are fully furnished rooms.
