About Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design
Our incredible campus marries the historic charm of the past with the sustainable, technological advancements of the future. Set on 23 acres of pristinely manicured grounds, the RMCAD campus has the prestigious designation of National Historic District, thanks to its rich history and its commitment to preservation and continuous renewal. Currently, the campus boasts 17 structures, 11 of which are devoted to classrooms, common areas, and other support spaces, including four galleries and ample studio spaces.
The RMCAD campus is tucked along the outskirts of Denver, ideally located between downtown and the foothills. Just 10 minutes to the east, you’ll find yourself standing amid the skyscrapers, clubs, restaurants, and galleries of the vibrant city; or just take a short drive to the west and you’ll experience the jaw-dropping beauty of the Rocky Mountain foothills. There, scattered among the 14,000-foot peaks and conifer and aspen forests, you’ll discover a constellation of cozy mountain villages and thriving resort towns.
At this time, RMCAD does not offer on-campus student housing. However, many off-campus options are available, and our Office of Student Life is available to assist students in finding a suitable housing arrangement.
