Campus information

On-campus living at Providence College includes nine traditional halls, five apartment buildings, and a new suites-style residence completed in 2004. Providence College constructed a two-level fitness center with a three-story glass atrium and a common entrance for Alumni Hall, the Peterson Recreation Center, and the Slavin Center. This provide a supportive learning environment for students to studying and learning

PC offers over 100 clubs and organizations which comprises of social, multicultural, political, professional, educational, athletic, community service and wellness issues for students to enhance their campus life.  By participating in these student organizations, students have the opportunity to take part in activities that they interested, affect change in local community, and develop friendships that can last a lifetime.

​The college is located in the city's Elmhurst neighborhood atop Smith Hill, the highest point in the city of Providence. The campus is located in a residential urban neighborhood about two miles west of downtown Providence.
