About Portland State University
Portland State University is an urban research university encompassing 50 city blocks, eight schools, 226 degree programs, 29,000 students, including 1,700 international students from 91 countries, and 126,000 alumni.

The cost of University Housing can vary depending on where you live, your class standing, and the type of room and building you choose to live in. PSU offers a wide variety of residence hall style and apartment style options. Housing charges include the cost of the student’s unit as well as all utilities, local phone service, high speed internet and in some cases, cable TV. Furnished and unfurnished rooms are available. FYE rooms are furnished, and a meal plan is built into the rate for housing.
