About Oklahoma State University

Oklahoma’s only university with a statewide presence, OSU improves the lives of people in Oklahoma, the nation, and the world through integrated, high-quality teaching, research and outreach. OSU has more than 36,000 students across its five-campus system and more than 24,000 on its Stillwater campus, with students from all 50 states and 118 nations.

OSU offered 26 residence halls, over 30 dining options, and seven family-first apartment neighborhoods provide alternatives to fit different preference of the students. From intramural sports teams to study sessions to hall government meetings, there are plenty of activities in which to get involved.

 

Campus information

Life at OSU is all about options. There are more than 30 dining choices on campus, meaning even the pickiest eater can find delicious meals. Want to form new friendships? Try out one of more than 400 campus organizations, which range from pre-professional clubs to serving organizations to special-interest groups like the Rodeo Club. Whatever your interest, you can find an organization that fits you.

Whether you choose a suite, apartment or community hall, you'll meet other new students and form lifelong connections. OSU campus is full of energy and fun activities. Want to stay active? Join an intramural sports team or visit the Colvin Center, which ranks as one of the top 10 recreation centers in the nation.

Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Stillwater is in north central Oklahoma, about equal distance (roughly 70 miles) from Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

Accommodation

In support of the mission of Oklahoma State University, all students are required to live in university owned residence halls. A limited number of exceptions to this policy may be granted by Housing & Residential Life. Students attempting to live off campus who have not been granted an exemption by Housing & Residential Life will be required to move into a residence hall and will be billed the full semester housing charges
