Oklahoma City University is a coeducational, urban private university located in Oklahoma City, in the Uptown district. The university is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and offers a wide variety of degrees in the liberal arts, fine arts, sciences and business. The only Oklahoma institution listed in the top tier of the regional, master's-level university category by U.S. News and World Report, Oklahoma City University is also listed in Forbes' "Best Christian Colleges" & "100 Best College Buys."

More than 70 undergraduate majors, 20 graduate degrees (including a law degree, MBA and two doctoral programs), and the Adult Studies Program for working adults to earn a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.

Living in university housing puts you in the hub of campus life. Residence halls at Oklahoma City University are a short walk from classes, events and the cafeteria.

On-campus living not only enhances your college experience, but it also makes it easier to get involved in campus life. Intramural sports, Homecoming, Greek Life, and competitive sporting events are just a few examples of the more than 60 organizations and activities available to OCU students.

Students who are under 21 years of age are required to live on campus.  Exceptions are made for those students who choose to live at home. 

Students will have their own individual room keys and card entry to Housing Facilities to come and go as needed, but visitors must be signed in and out, or listed with the RA’s, Head Residents for security & safety. All rooms have central heat and air.
