Marymount California University challenges students to pursue lives of leadership and service. The spirit of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary guides the University to cultivate integrity, respect for human dignity and commitment to justice as a Catholic institution. Marymount offers Associate degrees; Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business, Criminal Justice, Film and Media Production, Liberal Arts including areas of emphasis such as Biology and Human Performance, and Psychology; Master of Science degrees in Community Psychology, and in Leadership and Global Development; and a Master of Business Administration. The University’s student athletes compete in the California Pacific Conference within the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in the following sports: soccer, baseball, softball, golf, cross country and track.

Campus information

Marymount College is divided into two campuses; the main campus encompassed 26-acres which overlooking Pasific Ocean and Catilina Island located in Rancho Palos Verden whereas the Waterfront campus located in San Pedro will be accomodated upper business division and student majoring in global studies.

Marymount College has health center, bookstore, cafetaria, etc. that are located in the campus.

Marymount college surrounded by many restaurants and hotels. There are many shuttle and taxis to go to airport (LAX). Marymount college location is ery convinience for its students since its near to local attractions.

Accommodation

San Pedro Residential Campus provides students with 24-hour quiet and group study rooms, parking, high-speed wireless internet, an on-site dining facility and meeting spaces for student organizations. There is a volleyball court, basketball court, pavilion with a fireplace and a residential fitness facility.

Pacific View Apartments provides students with 24-hour quiet and group study rooms, parking (street or garage), high-speed wireless internet and an outdoor courtyard.
