Campus information

Loyola University Chicago comprises four campuses: Lake Shore (LSC), Water Tower (WTC), Health Sciences (HSC), and the John Felice Rome Center in Italy, and is home to 11 schools and colleges: Quinlan School of Business, Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, Stritch School of Medicine, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Communication, School of Continuing and Professional Studies, School of Education, School of Law, School of Social Work, Graduate School, and Arrupe College of Loyola University Chicago. Loyola also features course locations in Beijing, China; Saigon-Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Vernon Hills, Illinois (Cuneo Mansion and Gardens); and a Retreat and Ecology Campus in Woodstock, Illinois.

The Chicago metropolitan area is home to more than 8 million people, with 2.7 million residing within city limits. It's home to innumerable museums and cultural institutions; thousands of restaurants; and hundreds of theaters, concert venues, and art galleries. More than 550 parks dot the city, including the magnificent Millennium Park, historic Grant Park, and Chicago’s lakefront playground, Lincoln Park. In sports, Chicago has seven professional teams, from the Bears to the Cubs to the White Sox.

Accommodation

First-year residence hall housing offers quad-, triple-, double- and limited single-room occupancy rooms with private, semi-private, or community-style bathrooms in Campion Hall, de Nobili Hall, Mertz Hall, Regis Hall, the Simpson Living-Learning Center, and San Francisco Hall. 

When you're looking for a bite to eat, there are a number of dining options at your disposal. Loyola's residential dining halls, food courts, and cafés offer diverse menu options with an emphasis on high quality, seasonal ingredients. When you want a culinary adventure outside of Loyola's residence halls, every cuisine you can imagine is available in Rogers Park, downtown, and in the rest of Chicago's neighborhoods.
