About Furman University
Furman University provides undergraduate students housing within its campus in Greenville, where students can choose between the south campus housing and lakeside housing. The university's newly remodeled Physical Activities Center is consists of tracks, tennis center, and several outdoor fields, giving students plenty of space to play. The main dining facility of the university is the Daniel Dining Hall, which has been renovated in 2006. The 750-acre campus also features the James B. Duke Library that has more than 500,000 volumes, a Florentine bell tower, an Asian garden, a spring-fed lake, 18-hole golf course, as well as a 13 miles of paved trails.
Greenville is just minutes from Furman University’s campus. The city's downtown is a major destination for tourism and business, including a farmer’s market, restaurants and bistros, shopping, and a fun music scene. Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is only 35 minutes away from the campus.
