About Flagler College

Flagler College was established in 1968, it is a private four-year liberal arts college located in St. Augustine, Florida, United States.

Flagler College offers over 20 majors, 32 minors, and two pre-professional programs in selected studies emphasizing business, education, and liberal arts. The average class size in the college is 20 students, with a student-faculty ratio of 17.3 to 1.

In recent years, Flagler College has been named by US News & World Report as one of the southeast region's best comprehensive liberal arts colleges, it is also included on its list of "America's Best Colleges". Meanwhile, in The Princeton Review, Flagler College is ranked in the top tier of southeastern colleges, its campus is also ranked as one of the most beautiful campus in the United States.

Campus information

The main building of Flagler College is the Ponce de Leon Hall, that is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places. The Proctor Library features over thousands of printed volumes, periodicals, electronic books, audiovisual items, microforms, and etc. The Ringhaver Student Center features the College Bookstore, a bistro, three lounges, classrooms as well as a large multipurpose room. A 19-acre athletic field is located two miles from campus. Sport facilities in the campus include the soccer, baseball, and softball fields, gymnasium, tennis court and etc.

Flagler College is located in the heart of St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, near the Restoration Area and other
points of historic interest. St. Augustine is only 40 miles from Jacksonville and 50 miles from Daytona Beach. The
Atlantic Ocean is 4 miles away from the campus. St. Augustine’s downtown area provides numerous of restaurants,
shops, art galleries, and colonial Spanish architecture.

Accommodation

The Housing Office uses your Student Housing Contract to assign a compatible roommate. If you have a specific roommate request, both students need to fill out and submit the Roommate Request Form. Submitting the Roommate Request form is not a substitute for the Student Housing Contract.
