About Centenary College of Louisiana
Centenary College of Louisiana is a selective, residential, national liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Founded in 1825, it is the oldest chartered liberal arts college west of the Mississippi river and is a member of the Associated Colleges of the South.
Centenary is Louisiana’s only Tier One National liberal arts college, according to US News and World Report, and is regularly recognized as one of the top colleges in the South. Princeton Review named Centenary one of the “Best 380 Colleges” and Forbes recognized Centenary as one of the South's "Best Colleges" for 2015, putting the College in the top 15% of the nearly 4,000 colleges and universities in the United States.
