The sixty-five-acre campus of Centenary College of Louisiana, two miles south of downtown Shreveport, is widely known for its natural beauty and stately Georgian architecture.
Founded in 1825, Centenary College of Louisiana is the oldest chartered liberal arts college west of the Mississippi River, a Tier One National Liberal Arts College, and a member of the Associated Colleges of the South. Centenary is a selective, private, residential institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
The Shreveport/Bossier City area is located in the northwest corner of Louisiana near the Texas and Arkansas borders. The combined population for the Shreveport/Bossier Greater Metropolitan Area is approximately 393,000.
Centenary's residence life is centered around World Houses, drawing students together in common residence and with common purpose. Through your House, you will actively address one of three global challenges through service projects with community partners and leadership opportunities both on and off-campus.
