About Calvin College
Calvin’s beautiful 400-acre campus in West Michigan is ideally located to create a small, close-knit community feel while providing access to everything the city of Grand Rapids has to offer.
Nearly all first and second-year students live in Calvin’s seven residence halls. Most halls are divided into two wings, one for males and one for females. You’ll live in a dorm room with one roommate, and share a bathroom with two people who live on the other side of the suite. Every room comes furnished with stackable furniture that can be arranged in many ways to create space for a couch, studying and sleeping. Each residence hall also has these amenities:
- Cable access to popular TV channels like Food Network, CNN, ESPN and more.
- Wifi access
- Floor kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, stove tops and ovens
- Free laundry facilities, computer labs, study rooms, piano/music rooms and game rooms
