Bevill State Community College provides an ideal environment for learning and professional development. As a public, two-year, "open door" institution, Bevill State Community College is committed to providing comprehensive education and educational support services for people in West Central Alabama and beyond. As a member of the Alabama state system of community, junior, and technical colleges, Bevill State seeks to enhance intellectual, economic, cultural, and social development through a variety of means, by providing:

Campus information

The four main campuses, and two instructional sites, offer university parallel and applied technology educational opportunities to over one-quarter million people in a seven county area. Bevill State's service area spans over 4,600 square miles, from the Birmingham city limits to the Mississippi state line.

Located in the rolling hills of the Appalachian Mountains. The campus is a 45 minute drive from Birmingham and many recreational locations

The campus is a 30-minute drive northwest of Birmingham and is 15 minutes east of Jasper. ​

  • Pickens Center

 Located on Highway 86 East in Carrollton, Alabama is centrally located in the heart of Pickens County and just a short thirty-minute drive from Tuscaloosa, Alabama or Columbus, Mississippi. Its location provides easy access for citizens in the area and surrounding counties of west Alabama and east Mississippi.

Bevill State Community College offers living options for the student who chooses to live on campus. What awaits students during their residential experience is a community committed to academics, campus involvement, and the enjoyment of the college experience.  Most of the campus buildings are within a five minute walk from the apartments and dormitories.
