About Baton Rouge Community College

Baton Rouge Community College, an open admissions, two-year post-secondary public community college in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was established on June 28, 1995. The college settled into a permanent location in 1998. The 60-acre (240,000 m2) campus consists of six main buildings: Governors Building, Louisiana Building, Cypress Building, Bienvenue Student Center, the Magnolia Library and Performing Arts Pavilion, and the Bon Santé Health and Wellness Center. The college's current enrollment is more than 8,000 students.

Campus information

Our eight locations cover six parishes, East and West Baton Rouge, Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West and East Feliciana. Students come from diverse backgrounds and a majority live in one of these six parishes surrounding Baton Rouge.

Baton Rouge is the capital of the U.S. state of Louisiana and its second-largest city. The seat of East Baton Rouge Parish, the city is located on the eastern bank of the Mississippi River.
