About Ameritech College of Healthcare

Ameritech College of Healthcare was founded in 1979 in Provo Utah.  As an accredited vocational college specializing in healthcare career training, the original vision was to provide students with career advancement into the healthcare field in the shortest time possible.  As jobs in healthcare continue to grow, Ameritech is preparing graduates to meet this demand.

While Ameritech College of Healthcare has grown substantially since 1979, the college has remained true to its mission.  Over the past several decades, thousands of graduates have chosen Ameritech to assist them with their career transition into a variety of healthcare and dental related fields.

In 2006 Ameritech expanded its allied health and dental offerings by adding a registered nursing program. Nursing students from inside and outside the State of Utah began to see the value of the Ameritech’s Nursing Program, and the number of graduated registered nurses now numbers in the thousands. Ameritech College of Healthcare has since grown to be one of the largest and highest-performing nursing colleges in Utah.

Past graduates have come to Ameritech from across the United States and even internationally.  With the expansion into online healthcare programs in 2009, Ameritech College of Healthcare now offers an advanced degree option for registered nurses who wish to pursue their Bachelor of Science in Nursing online.

Ameritech College of Healthcare implements its mission guided by five dynamic and integrated core values that are embedded into the institution, dictate behavior, and are reflected in our work.
