Accommodation
At City, we offer a range of accommodation, including modern and newly refurbished halls of residence a short walk from the main university buildings as well as private accommodation.
The halls of residence have modern study bedrooms and living space. Electricity, heating and water bills are included in the fees and there are computer and telephone points in every bedroom.
All the halls are within easy travelling distance of the main site in Northampton Square.
Campus
There are plenty of activities, events, facilities and services you can benefit from, even if you're not a student. These include free events, health clinics, legal advice, employment opportunities and state-of-the-art sports facilities. We also offer a range of services for businesses.
Clinics
We offer a wide range of eye care services to the general public including free eye tests, comprehensive eye examinations and access to a range of spectacles at a 20% discount on high street RRP. Alongside a general clinic, City Sight runs a variety of specialist clinics, including those for binocular vision, children, colour vision, contact lenses, specific learning difficulties, spectacles and visual impairment.
Legal advice
Alongside their studies, City, University of London Law students provide a range of services including free, confidential and independent legal advice and clinics on all areas of common law and employment law.
Events
City’s leading academics regularly deliver public lectures at the University and external speakers range from Nobel Prize winners and Tech City innovators to industry leaders and policy makers. A range of free concerts are also held at City throughout the year, from genres that encompass both the traditional and the experimental. The majority of events are free to attend and open to the general public.
CitySport
CitySport, the University's sports and fitness centre, aims to provide a sporting hub for local people alongside students and staff at the University.
