How is the academic life at this university/college? UTAR offers a wide array of courses that one can choose from. It has two campuses, one in Sg Long, Cheras and another in Kampar, Perak. These campuses offer courses such as engineering, accounting, psychology, medicine, foundation studies, and much more. What are the students like? Most of the students in UTAR hail from all over Malaysia. Most of the students are of Chinese ethnicity, being the majority in UTAR. Although they are the majority, Indian and Malay students are also present in UTAR. UTAR also opens its doors to international students from countries such as Sudan, UAE, Korea, etc. What do students do when not studying? Tell us about the social and sports life. In Kampar, students are able to visit cafes, carry out recreational activities such as play football, go for a jog and much more. What is your overall opinion about this university/college? I would give UTAR a thumbs up, for its perseverance in offering the best to its students.
