How is the academic life at this university/college? The academic life here is flexible and not as hectic as in Public University. You have the advantage of planning your own academic course structure and subjects each semester and not stringently bound by the given academic course structure. As a student, you will feel tired and all because, well you ARE doing engineering, but it's a normal thing in any university. What are the students like? Students here are generally nice. They are a mix of people from many different background, ethnicity, race, religion, and even country. Everyone gets along well. Study-wise, most of them are very peculiar with their education and are very serious when it comes to exams and tests. What do students do when not studying? Tell us about the social and sports life. Every great thing must come with a negative. Socially, the university is not vibrant, especially at night. Student clubs exist, it's just not much going on other than those clubs related to engineering like IMechE. Cultural stuff, not really a thing here. Probably because everyone is busy with the weight of engineering school, they forgot to balance it out. Sports-wise, it's not that bad. Sports clubs are somewhat lively, but only if you look for them. Otherwise, it's really missable. But clubs like SEALS do organise some talks and workshops, which is nice. What is your overall opinion about this university/college? It's a nice place if you want to focus on your studies. Luckily, it's situated near Kuala Lumpur so if you need to blow off some steam, the malls are available for you.
