Universiti Teknologi Malaysia International Degree Programme (UTM-IDP) is a Bachelor Degree Programme offered by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) for Malaysian and international students. The programme provides opportunities for the students to experience a world class teaching and learning environment. UTM-IDP offers Global Outreach Programme (GOP) to allow students to have global educational experience and enhance their academic opportunities.

Entry Requirements
For Local Students
- Pass Matriculation/Asasi with at least CGPA 2.80 and
- Obtained at least Grade B- (2.67) at the Matriculation/Asasi levels in TWO (2) subjects
- Mathematics
- Physics/Engineering Physics and Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET and
- Obtained at least Grade C at the SPM level for
- Mathematics
- Physics and
- Not color blind or do not have any body part disability for the practical assignments
- Pass STPM with at least CGPA 2.80 and
- Obtained at least Grade B- (2.67) in Mathematics/Further Mathematics and Physics and
- Obtained at least Band 2 in MUET
- Obtained Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Aeronautic/Automotive/Industry) from UTM/IPT/other equivalent qualification with at least CGPA 2.75 and
- Obtained at least distinction at the SPM level for
- Mathematics
- Physics
For International Students
- A Senior High School Certificate/Senior Secondary School/other equivalent pre-university qualifications from government schools (with a period of at least 12 years of study from primary to higher secondary) OR
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) ‘A’ Level , Diploma in the related field or other equivalent pre-university examinations OR
- Other certificates recognized by the Senate of the University as equivalent to the above and Specific requirements based on programmes and
- Fulfilled the English Language Requirements
