How is the academic life at this university/college? Overall, it is quite an enjoyable experience as long as you can balance your studies and freetime. Assignments are very important as quite a lot of marks of your coursework comes from it. Quantity depends on course. You have to adjust yourself depending on your lecturers as each have different style. They do try to make their classes or lectures as interesting as possible. What are the students like? Students come from different places from all of Malaysia including the Sabah and Sarawak. There are many international students too. Everyone comes from different background but you should be able to find suitable friends if you expose yourself a bit more. You can expect the campus to be quite packed unless during breaks or holidays. What do students do when not studying? Tell us about the social and sports life. You are free to do anything you want. You can hangout with friends or join clubs. There are many clubs and societies to choose from so you can definitely find something you like to do if bored. Examples are basketball, dodgeball, Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship (ENI) Club, AEISEC, music, orchestra, anime, dance and many more. What is your overall opinion about this university/college? Definitely among the best universities in Malaysia and would recommend if you can secure a scholarship. Try to join some clubs or societies too as you will be able to learn new things and gain experience besides studying.
