Pros
Scenic university. Nice and helpful lecturers (I guess this is the same for many other private universities which begin to adopt a client-approach in dealing with students)
Cons
It is definitely not an ideal place for postgraduate research with micromanaging R&D office, which questions your slightest expenses for research, the integrity of your data and author list on your paper etc. The staff members are unresponsive to students' requests and students are often seen as an instrument to generate papers. The labs are not well-equipped and there is a lengthy procedure to go through for the request of equipment and chemicals, especially on the finance part. Also, having to fulfill teaching duty to keep the waiver of tuition fee, teaching has become more of a task to please students, rather than to up-keep the quality.
