Miri - 10 October 2017 - Curtin University, Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) and Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing (CBT) business of global learning company Pearson, have established the Curtin Pearson VUE Authorised Test Centre at the university campus following the signing of an agreement between the two organisations last month.
The test centre serves as a testing facility for candidates pursuing key industry certifications from leading IT programmes such as Cisco, The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), Dell EMC, Hewlett-Packard, Linux Professional Institute (LPI), Oracle and VMware.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Science at Curtin Malaysia, Ir. Professor Lau Hieng Ho said, “We are very excited about our partnership with Pearson VUE, a company whose industry status, technology and passion for excellence will help us provide outstanding service for our customers.”
“The company’s testing system is the most advanced available and gives us unparalleled control and flexibility in managing our testing activities according to our needs. It means we can easily offer same-day testing and even conduct testing at our customers’ locations,” he added.
Pearson VUE’s advanced system administers examinations on behalf of hundreds of businesses, boards and organisations around the globe through the world’s largest, most secure network of test centres.
The list of certification tests available from test sponsors through the system is continually growing. Test results are quickly transmitted back, ensuring the candidate’s certification status is promptly updated.
