Institute of Technology Tralee (ITT) is a university level institution with a range of programmes from craft to postgraduate level. he Institute currently has 3,500 full & part-time students, employing 350 staff and provides a financial contribution of circa €60m to the local economy annually.

Accommodation
Students have three choices for accommodation at IT Tralee:
- Digs: Students share a house with the householder (usually rh family) and will have their own room, and share facilities with the householder. Breakfast and evening meals are provided, and payment is determined by the householder. Price includes electricity and heat. Lodgings are usually for five days, weekends are extra if offered.
- Houses: Students are able to share houses with others.
- Apartments: Students are able to share apartments with others.
Campus
ITT operates on two campus locations in Tralee, Co. Kerry: the South Campus located in Clash and the North Campus located in Dromtacker which opened in 2001.
The Institute has two campuses- the North campus (located in Dromtacker) and the South campus (located in Clash) approximately 2.4 km (1.5 mi) apart. The South campus has been in operation since the opening of the Institute in 1977. The North campus opened in 2001. The continuing development of the North campus will eventually lead to the entire institute being relocated to Dromtacker.
The Institute's two campuses are located in Kerry, southwest of Ireland. The county is known for its culture, music, arts and heritage, and is easily accessible from both campuses. A new library and information resource centre was recently opened.
