About Les Roches Jin Jiang International Hotel Management College

Les Roches Jin Jiang International Hotel Management College (LRJJ), founded in 2004, is a private college located in Shanghai, China. LRJJ offers undergraduate and postgraduate diploma programs in international hotel management to a diverse and multicultural community of more than 800 students, coming from more than 47 countries.

The curriculum, taught in English, provides students with a strong academic and theoretical basis in hospitality business management combined with a hands-on learning experience, both on campus and through an internship program. Internship opportunities are available
internationally and within China, one of the most dynamic and fast-growing markets in the industry.

LRJJ is a joint venture between Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland, ranked among the top hospitality management schools worldwide, and Jin Jiang International Hotels, a leading Hotel Group in Asia that owns and operates more than 3,000 hotels worldwide. Les Roches Jin Jiang addresses the growing demand for skilled hotel and hospitality executives both in China and internationally. LRJJ is located in Feng Xian, a southern district of Shanghai that is approximately a one-hour drive from downtown, within the calm and scenic grounds of the Shanghai Normal University campus.

Les Roches is part of the Laureate International Universities – a leading international network of quality, innovative institutions of higher education. The LIU network of more than 80 accredited campus-based and online universities offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs to more than 950,000 students in 29 countries around the world.

Our industry-focused programs are delivered in English and designed to lead students through the numerous facets of hospitality by developing their operational, administrative and managerial expertise. We achieve this careful balance by interlocking academic and guided experiential learning. We believe our students gain a true competitive advantage when hospitality theory and practice are combined with general education courses, providing them with a wealth with an intellectually developed mind.

  • Classroom Learning – It’s an essential component of all programs, where students will learn important business management theory.
  • Craft-based Learning – Learning from experience; through a combination of classroom learning and learning outside of the traditional class environment.
  • Internships – Real Life Experience; the opportunity to apply the knowledge obtained during academic semesters, and to develop a work ethos and the professional attitude required by the industry.
