What is Business and Management about?

1. Economics

2. Marketing

Marketing is one of the premier components of business management which includes the coordination of four important elements in marketing, which is known as 4P’s of marketing: product, price, place and promotional strategy.  

3. Management

Management involves a set of principles relating to the functions of planning, organizing, directing and controlling resources to achieve organizational goals and is the backbone of successful organizations. A person in a management position will have the power and responsibility to make decisions and oversee an enterprise.

4. Finance

Finance is the study of money system, investments and other financial instruments or better understood as money management. Finance can be divided into three categories, which are public finance, corporate finance and personal finance, including tax systems, business assets, mortgage planning, retirement planning, etc.

5. Accounting

Accounting is all about transactions, from the process of summarizing, analyzing to reporting these transactions and it is one of the key functions for any business to keep their financial information organized and their business managed effectively.

  • 5 grade B passes at O Levels / GCSE.

  • Senior High School graduates or above

  • Any equivalent qualifications

Language Requirement:

  • Pass *HSK exam grade 3 or above

  • IELTS with score 4.0 - 4.5

Bachelor’s Degree

  • High school graduation or equivalent to a Chinese high school graduate

  • Completed and passed with full certificate in the STPM / A-Level or equivalent

  • Completed and passed with 5 credits (5B's) in the United Examinations of Certificate (UEC)

  • Completed and passed all subjects in the university’s foundation programme

Language Requirement:

  • Pass HSK exam grade 4 or above

  • TOEFL or IELTS with score 6.0

HSK is a chinese proficiency test consisting of six levels to evaluate one’s proficiency in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives and is required by most Chinese universities as one of their admission requirements.

 

How long will I be studying this programme?
