Memorial University has four campuses, each with its own flavor and charm. The province’s capital city, St. John’s, is home to the St. John’s campus which offers a full range of academic programs in a modern, urban setting. Also located in St. John’s is the Marine Institute, Canada’s leading centre of fisheries and marine training and one of the largest marine educational facilities in the world. Grenfell Campus, located in Corner Brook on the scenic west coast of the island, is a liberal arts and science campus specializing in environmental and fine arts programs.
Memorial’s teaching and learning opportunities extend beyond the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. In the United Kingdom, the Harlow Campus, nestled in the quaint town of Old Harlow, Essex, is a unique vantage point from which to study, research, and explore in the European Union.
Moreover, Memorial University’s 450 distance education courses make it possible to extend your classroom beyond borders, enabling you to undertake academic exploration anywhere in the world.

Student Housing at Grenfell Campus, MUN seeks to develop and foster a community living environment, which promotes the academic and personal growth of each resident. We strive to promote an increased awareness and appreciation of individual and cultural differences and to assist residents in adapting to both residential and university life.
The Housing Staff seeks to maintain facilities that are safe, comfortable and affordable and to create a community atmosphere where respect and responsible behaviour are encouraged. Our residents and staff come from Newfoundland, different parts in Canada, and many countries around the world.
