MSU Provides Global Opportunities for its Students!

MSU is a global university that emphasizes the success of its graduates not only from the academic, co-curricular regardless the soft skills of each student in order to produce a holistic, balance and well-rounded graduate.

In reaching a 21st century, MSU also provides students with a platform for global exposure through mobility programs such as Global Mobility Program (GMP), Global Leadership Program (GLP) and Global Internship Program (GIP).

The participation of students in these programs strengthens their appreciation for social and cultural uniqueness, information sharing and skills, learning and teaching systems, collaborative networks, new partners, community service and as a 'small ambassador' of the State.

The Global Mobility Program (GMP) allows students to empower their global experience where more than forty MSU university colleagues around the world such as Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, China, United States, India and others as their hub for knowledge.

Moreover, the GMP unit will recommend universities that match the students’ needs and it shall assist the students from the initial stage to acceptance into the recommended university.

As these universities have varying intake dates, it is advisable that a lead time of 4 to 6 months is given. Students are required to make their own arrangements pertaining to sponsorship and other costs incurred during the process.

While Global Leadership Program (GLP) is more specific about the exposure of MSU students to the short courses programs to strengthen and enhance their leadership aspects.

The program includes the student’s participation in community engagement, education tour, cultural sharing which is planned with several overseas higher education institutions and other global agencies.

The GLP, on the other hand, is focused on the creation of leaders of tomorrow and developing a global mindset among students. It provides opportunities for students to enhance their learning experience and develop leadership and global skills. 

These skills are applied through their learning, volunteering and participation in activities conducted at the international or local level. It is also will enhance their learning experiences and develop important soft skills such as leadership, team work and communications skills.

In addition, GIP enables MSU students to choose any place of industrial training at a global level whether with corporate organizations.

In MSU, there are a few clubs that supports the activities of students from International such as International Student Society and MSU Indonesia society that always come out with an activity that assembly all students from international and local.

Through these activities, it will gather all students in a various race, religions at the same time apply the intercultural learning at campus.

Among the activities carried out in strengthening cultural differences in our campus such as Nusantara Culture Exhibition and MSU International Food Cuisine which was held recently to gather all students including the international students in highlighting the uniqueness of traditional foods for their respective countries.
