2 EASY Steps to Decide What's Next

While some of your friends may be very certain about how they want to go about in life, you are still feeling lost thinking of what should you do.

It is normal to feel lost after you’re done with your high school studies - either choosing to take a gap year, to work and gain experience while waiting for your results or start working straight away instead of furthering your studies.

There are no right or wrong answer to this but learning from experience, here are TWO ways that could help you find the answers that you are looking for. Most importantly, be bold to choose the pathway that you want, instead of surrendering to what others pressure you into.

1. WRITE DOWN WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE

Yeah, I know when I say write down, most of us might think, this is so old-school or simply feel kind of lazy to do so. However, studies actually prove that when we write down and list things, we will have a clearer mindset what we need to do in order to achieve what we want. There is never such thing as being too early or too late to start writing. And, as soon as you start journalizing, you are shaping the real “YOU”.

2. RESPECT OTHERS, BUT TRUST YOURSELF.

In life, there will evidently be noises. Just reflect, consider your options and make the best decision for yourself. When it gets too loud, just use both of your hands to shut your ears if anyone wants to influence you into the pathway you strongly are against. At the end of the day, only YOU know yourself the BEST. Listening too much to others will most of the time, confuse you and make you feel more lost. Don’t ever feel that you are obligated to make others happy, you owe yourself that big chunk of fulfillment. As long as you know how and where you need to grow and be the better version of yourself,
